The North American Wildlife Conservation Model, has stated that fauna belongs to all North Americans. So everyone is responsible for making sure wildlife is sustained and able to live for next generations to come. Due to the unique location of the Chilcotin Ark and the different ecosystems within the Ark, it is the home of 11 of 29 big game species of North America and a variety of other mammals, birds and fish.
