The flora is an integral part of the different ecosystems in the Chilcotin Ark by providing habitat and food for other organisms. Plants of any kind form the important base in food nets in every ecosystem. Due to the special location of the Chilcotin Ark there is a high diversity of trees, shrubs, forbs and grasses.
